‘KICKING THE FEATHERS
‘ (SEPAK BULU AYAM/CHAPTEH)
INTRODUCTION
This is a game
that involves kicking a soft ‘ball’ hand-made from chicken feathers. The
purpose of the game is to test the skills of the player in controlling and
balancing the ‘ball’ for as long as possible so that it will not fall onto the
ground. This game involves 2 or more players, usually boys between 10-17 years
old. Played in open areas, the only item required for this game is a soft
‘ball’ made from 14 chicken feathers tied in the centre of a thick paper or a
rubber sheet.
HOW TO PLAY CAPTEH:
• Players must weigh the ball without stopping
• Players must weigh without dying as much weight do.
• Players who have low points lost and must be punished.
• Players must toss capteh loser to winner.
• Winners also must weigh three times.

player.

CHAPTEH (HISTORY & HOW TO MAKE)
Apart from seremban stone game, there are many other
traditional games. For example, pride, top, chapteh, kite and others. On this
day we will tell a little about the game chapteh.Chapteh game is also known as
chicken feathers, chicken feathers or sebuyam football. Usually, the game
played by young boys outdoors. This game can also be played in bersekumpulan.
Chapteh, play sports just like soccer balls are different. Chapteh using
sheep's balls and was formed from a bouquet of flowers. Also takraw ball of

HOW TO MAKE CHAPTEH:

WAYS TO MAKE:
• Put nail to penetrate in the middle of the tube sheets were
